The inspiration for this song was based on Eve (and Snow White) both falling into temptation by eating the apple and suffering the consequences at the hand of the enemy. It's easy to judge Eve and blame her for the fall of the world, but we still fall into the same temptations and sin today. We should use God's Word as a defense against the enemy's deceptions and trust in God's saving grace to redeem us.

This was the song that I just sat down at wrote at the piano in like an hour. It really reignited my love for writing lyrics and making music! I feel like God gave me this song and it’s inspired by my faith journey and giving my life to Jesus.

I wrote this song after my sweet cocker spaniel, Boomer, crossed the rainbow bridge in February 2025 🐶🐾💔. He was my soul dog and I miss him every day. I still can’t believe he’s gone.
